FRS Recruitment is currently looking to recruit and Technical Sales Advisor for a leading Agri animal nutrition company. This is a full-time permanent role and covering the Antrim region NI, Northern Ireland.Our client is a leading animal nutrition company committed to the success and profitability of livestock producers worldwide. Known for its precise feed analyses, highly fortified products the business strives to help livestock producers get the most out of each pound of feed and each head of livestock.Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for building relationships with dairy & beef farmers in County Antrim.You will be inheriting an existing customer base that has been well developed over the past 3-4 years. You will be expected to maintain and account manage these customers but you will also expected to grow the business.Based on precise feeding analysis you will advise farmers on a suitable balanced diet in the form of silage additives, enzymes & yeast and minerals.The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for balancing diets for pre-calver, post- calver and beef diets from the herbage analysis of samples taken on farm for new and existing clients. In doing so our aim is to produce healthy fertile cows and optimise performance. Also promoting our forage enhancer and working closely with farmers to produce high quality forages.Duties

Provide technical and sales support to Dairy & Beef farmers.
Maintain existing business
Develop and grow business
Work to agreed sales targets
Attend national agricultural shows throughout the year.

Candidate profile

Previous on farm sales experience an advantage
3 rd level degree in Agriculture / Green Cert a distinct advantage (al though not essential)
A strong knowledge of farming
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have own transport (expenses covered) and fully qualified driver
Candidate must be self motivated and have the ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
Full and extensive training will be provided
