- Ensure consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene in line with HACCP and Health & Safety regulations.
- Assist with menu planning and cost control to achieve budgeted Gross Profit Margins while minimising waste.
- Manage food orders following company purchasing policies and approved supplier lists.
- Maintain and oversee food safety records and daily hygiene standards in all kitchen areas.
- Ensure food presentation is innovative, and temperatures are accurately recorded.
- Support stock takes and hazard reviews alongside the Head Chef.
- Lead and support the team to deliver outstanding fine dining experiences.
- Maintain strong communication and working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Participate in cleaning and hygiene duties to uphold kitchen standards.
- Relevant culinary qualification.
- 1-2 years' Chef de Partie experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in fine dining or high-end catering.
- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Experience in menu planning and cost control.
- Passion for food, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, courteous manner with strong time management skills.
- Flexible approach to duties and a willingness to undergo further training.
