Location: KilkennyAbout the RoleReporting to the Production Manager and working as part of the warehouse team, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth stock flow, accurate reporting, and effective support for manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain best‑in‑class stock control systems from goods‑inwards to manufacturing line distribution.Manage stock releases to production and process returns of unused materials.Ensure real‑time stock accuracy across all locations and quantities.Conduct regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.Optimise storage space and support warehouse organisation.Manage stock levels for contract manufacturing customers, including packaging and raw materials.Separate obsolete stock and assist with customer audits.Record waste disposal figures and report lost product.Candidate RequirementsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Computer literacy (SAP experience is an advantage).Energetic, reliable, and eager to learn.A current forklift licence is an advantage.Salary & BenefitsHourly Rate: €16 per hourHours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pmAnnual Leave: 20 daysFor additional information and a confidential discussion on this Stock Controller position and similar opportunities contact: Aoife 056-7786631 / 086 0444833 or Aoife@optimizerecruitment.ieAoife is available for a call between 9am and 5.30pm daily (outside of work hours calls / meetings can be arranged upon request).Please submit your CV via the link provided, in confidence.All applications will be dealt with in the strictest confidence and your CV will never be released without your prior approval.Job Ref Number: OR-14634www.optimizerecruitment.ie#ORjobs
