Certified as a Great Place to Work and with ambitious expansion plans for 2024, they now have an exciting opportunity for someone to join as their financial lead, based in their office over their pharmacy location in central Letterkenny. You will be working closely with a new dynamic office team, and reporting directly to the MD. In this multifaceted position, you will play a vital role in the financial health of the Group, and have the opportunity to make this position your own, aligned to their core values.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Day-to-day processing of transactions, invoices, payment runs, and remittances.
Manage purchase order and invoice processing with precision, harnessing automation for efficient data entry.
Maintain and update the status of accounts receivables and payables.
Ensure timely payments, resolve queries, and perform meticulous supplier statement reconciliations.
Prepare fortnightly payments to employees, enter timesheets into the system, and maintain employee records.
Reporting & Analysis: Create monthly and quarterly financial statements and conduct analyses to propel financial improvements across sales and expenses.
Regulatory Liaison: Collaborate with our accountant to maintain compliance across all revenue streams, including VAT and PAYE.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain essential relationships with suppliers, financial and external stakeholders. Office Administration: Tackle administrative tasks with finesse, from communication management to document organization. Administrative support for Managing Director and Support Office team.Qualifications and Skills
Hold a professional bookkeeping or part-qualified accountancy credential.
Bring a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a comparable financial role.
An excellent understanding of bookkeeping and office administration.
Excellent numerical/verbal reasoning & problem-solving skills.
Competency to work both on an individual basis and as part of a team.
Ability to organize and schedule own workload.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proven capabilities with financial software, Excel, and Word.
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining financial concepts clearly to all stakeholders.

Compensation: Salary negotiable and reflective of your experience and the valuable skills you bring to the team - from €35,000 to €40,000 per year.
