- You will be responsible for the full management, budget, estimating through construction to final accounts of Electrical projects of various sizes.
- Make sure that all contractual requirements are met and offer guidance and oversight to the construction team in relation to this.
- Capability to identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to management.
- Review and update monthly progress reports to accurately reflect remeasurements, site variations, additional work, and any claims.
- Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final account.
- Managing and forecasting of turnover and cash flow of the projects
- Evaluating and overseeing the commercial aspects of all projects to ensure accurate and trustworthy reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies affecting Electrical and Mechanical systems.
- Relevant 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying,
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor within the construction industry, with exposure to mechanical or electrical projects
- Have strong commercial awareness
- Previous experience working with an M&E Contractor is favourable.
- Be comfortable in your use of Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.
- Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability
