Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: May 2026 target
Sector: Global Life Sciences
Company: Korn Ferry is partnering with a global Life Sciences organisation on a strategically important integration programme linked to a recent acquisition. The opportunityWe are looking for a strong cross-functional Project Manager to support business and operational workstreams within a major integration programme. The project has a targeted September go-live and will require continued integration support for around six months afterwards. The successful candidate will help coordinate key workstreams within an accelerated Day 1 operating model, working across functions to keep activity aligned, actions progressing, and stakeholders engaged. This is not a role for someone who needs everything tightly defined upfront. It will suit a Project Manager who is comfortable with ambiguity, able to move between different subject areas, and confident operating in a global, fast-changing programme environment.Although there may be early involvement with workstreams such as HR/payroll and broader operational activity, the requirement is not for a functional HR specialist. The emphasis is on broad project management capability, flexibility, and the ability to support different parts of the programme as needs evolve.Key responsibilities
- Support delivery of a complex cross-functional integration programme, helping to coordinate key business and operational workstreams.
- Manage core PM activity including project plans, milestones, RAID logs, actions, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Work with functional leads to ensure workstream activity remains aligned to overall programme timelines and Day 1 priorities.
- Help drive operational readiness ahead of go-live, ensuring dependencies, decisions, and risks are surfaced and addressed early.
- Build strong working relationships across multiple teams and disciplines, helping connect activity that cuts across functions.
- Bring structure and momentum to areas where requirements or ownership may still be evolving.
- Support programme governance and follow-through, ensuring agreed actions are delivered and stakeholders remain informed.
- Continue to support the integration through post-go-live activity, helping maintain delivery focus across the stabilisation phase.
- Experienced Project Manager with a background in transformation, integration, change, or complex operational programmes.
- Comfortable working across business functions rather than remaining in a narrow silo.
- Strong experience managing stakeholders, coordinating activity, and maintaining pace across multiple workstreams.
- Demonstrated ability to operate successfully where scope is still developing and where teams need someone to create clarity and structure.
- Good judgement, strong follow-through, and the ability to balance detail with the bigger picture.
- Experience in global environments and confidence dealing with stakeholders across locations and levels.
- Exposure to Life Sciences, healthcare, regulated operations, laboratory environments, or post-acquisition integration would be helpful, though not essential.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a genuine willingness to move across areas as needed.
- Strong communicator who can engage effectively with both functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Organised, delivery-focused, and comfortable taking ownership.
- Solutions-oriented and pragmatic, with a bias for action.
- Able to navigate uncertainty without losing momentum.
