- Lead the development of project concepts and support formal quotations and cost estimates during the bidding process.
- Contribute to vendor selection processes during project development and ensure that appropriate resources are identified and aligned with project requirements.
- Lead the design, analysis, and development of complex mechanical systems and components, offering expert guidance on best practices, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the creation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and company quality objectives.
- Business Support & Development
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during ongoing sales activities, contributing to customer interactions from both a technical and business development standpoint.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, identifying opportunities to implement new engineering methods and standards that align with business goals.
- Employee Development & Leadership
- Participate in the development of employees, fostering an environment that promotes personal and professional growth.
- Mentor and guide employees to ensure their technical skills evolve in line with business requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 8 years experience.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and policies.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Supervisory or leadership experience in an engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency in producing engineering documentation, including multi-level bills of materials.
- Expertise in machining and manufacturing processes, materials, and treatments (plating, painting, heat treatments).
