Our client, Tank Pipe and Drain Longford Limited t/a Glancy Enviro, based in Clonterm, Co. Longford, is currently seeking Drain Inspectors for immediate start at their facility in Co. Longford. Key Responsibilities & Duties: - Inspect and assess drainage systems, pipework, and septic tanks to identify blockages, defects, and structural issues. - Carry out CCTV drain surveys and use diagnostic equipment to evaluate the condition and performance of drainage networks. - Record and classify defects, obstructions, and root ingress, and recommend appropriate repair or maintenance actions. - Support drain cleaning, jetting, and repair operations, ensuring inspections are completed before and after works. - Produce accurate reports and condition assessments for customers, supervisors, and management. - Assist in planning and executing routine maintenance and emergency response activities. - Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures. - Liaise with plumbers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate work efficiently and deliver excellent customer service. Requirements: - Candidates must have the requisite experience and knowledge to perform all job duties listed above - Minimum of 2 years' experience in drainage inspection, plumbing maintenance, or a related field. - Proficiency in using CCTV inspection systems and related reporting software. - Good understanding of drainage systems, pipework layouts, and maintenance techniques. - Ability to identify drainage faults and recommend suitable repair methods. - Comfortable working in confined spaces and outdoors in various weather conditions. - Excellent attention to detail, communication, and reporting skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a small, responsive team - Relevant certification for plumbing/drainage inspection is highly desirable Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay Rate €18.05 per hour Work Location: Tank Pipe and Drain Longford Limited t/a Glancy Enviro, Clonterm, Longford, Co.
