Merchant Sales Executive (North Leinster)Job Summary:Provide support and build relationships with regional stockists and builder's merchants to help them grow sales of Tobermore products.As an award-winning Company, we are one of the market leading providers of paving and walling products within the UK and Irish markets. This is an exciting opportunity with one of the most successful and financially secure businesses in Northern Ireland.Some of the Key Benefits of joining us:💸 Attractive salary + Annual Bonus.✨ Enhanced Holiday Entitlements💻 Access to Tech & Cycle to work schemes🦺 Company Branded Clothing⭐ Holiday Purchase Scheme🎁 Length of Service giftsAbout the roleProvide support to regional stockists and builders merchants to increase their sales of Tobermore products.Work closely with the Consumer Sales team and Paving Contractor team to collectively increase sales of Tobermore products through their customer base which includes paving contractors, regional house builders, and small contractors.As a Tobermore employee, you will be a Company ambassador actively demonstrating the core Company values (Happy, Excellence, Attitude, Reliable and Team)Ensure stockists keep the correct products in stock and build the range of Tobermore products in stock.Ensure stockists' staff are effectively trained and continuously updated about the USP's Tobermore products can offerEnsure stockists' displays are appropriate for what they stock and sell (also ensure the displays are kept clean, tidy, and professional looking at all times).Ensure Tobermore brochure, Point of Sale, and marketing materials are always well stocked in branches.Proactively target new customers to purchase Tobermore products through trade days, customer visits, and joint call days.Actively target new stockists for the region in line with the strategy agreed upon.Identify paving contractors connected to the stockist to join the Tobermore-approved scheme and liaise with the Paving Contractor team to get them approved.Follow up on all project opportunities and customer requirements within the timeframes required.Attend sales review meetings to discuss performance against objectives set.Attend regional sales team meetings to support the team objectives.Work with the regional sales team and head office staff who will provide you with continuous support in your roleActively work on your target list of customers and ensure we are meeting those that can provide us with the most ordersDevelop strong customer relationships to encourage repeat orders.Actively plan your diary in accordance with company proceduresUse hospitality as per company procedure to build and maintain relationships.Attend appropriate networking events to build your contact database and enable you to follow up and secure one-to-one meetings.Record all customer interactions and notes as per company procedure.Learn the products and services that Tobermore can provide.Use Company's CRM system, Dynamics, to source new and monitor existing customer relations.Use LinkedIn and Facebook to identify customers and increase Tobermore's brand awareness.Always communicate professionally with customers and as per company training provided.Play an active role in team meetings.All of this will be focused on the region and customers that have been allocated and agreed with you via the sales review process.Any other duties as required.Identify paving contractors.Provide support to regional approved paving contractors by helping them to effectively promote themselves and Tobermore's USPs.Use our added value services such as the design and visualisation services to help gain more orders.About the companyTobermore is a family run organisation, the family ethos of the firm is mirrored in the dedication of our staff.   • 5 GCSE's / Junior Cert to include English & Maths A - C
  • 6+ months customer service experience within the last 2 years

Desired Criteria
  • A-levels/Leaving Cert or equivalent
  • 3rd Level Qualification (Business related)
  • Professional sales qualification

  • • 6+ months proven success in Business Development • Presenting Experience
