- Ensure adherence to all SOPs, implementing new procedures as required to ensure effective restaurant operation
- Engage in effective communications with head chef and key staff to ensure smooth continuity in service delivery.
- Monitor and manage budgets through cost-effective operation (ie rostering, stock control etc.
- Oversee all event management, ensuring a smooth event experience from start to finish.
- Lead by example, fostering positive work culture.
- Carry out team appraisals, training & development, mentoring opportunities.
- In conjunction with HR, identify policies / systems that will improve employee relations.
- Ensure all customer issues are handled promptly and effectively.
- Maintain good supplier relations, overseeing contracts and ensuring product quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Be aware of industry trends and best practices and advise management accordingly.
