Our client, a dynamic player in the cybersecurity space, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their newly formed Application Security Platform Squad! Let's work together to create a "security-first" culture across the enterprise!What You'll Do:Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain tools for Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and secret scanning.
Build a centralised scanning service that integrates seamlessly into developer workflows.
Focus on engineering excellence by improving automation, test coverage, release velocity, and production health.
Collaborate with a passionate team, owning all aspects of delivery while contributing to meaningful discussions and solutions.
The Expertise You Have:5+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-standard applications using Python, Go, or Java.
Proficiency with frameworks such as Spring, Apache Commons, and experience with Kubernetes or similar platforms.
Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS, along with relevant certifications.
Bonus points for application security experience (Pen Testing, SAST, DAST, etc.)!
Hands-on experience with testing tools (JUnit, PyUnit, Cypress) and automation/pipeline implementation.The Skills You Bring:Strong engineering skills with the ability to design and develop maintainable, scalable applications.
Experience in agile environments (Scrum) and an understanding of test automation tools.
Excellent communication skills to influence peers and decision-makers positively.
Analytical mindset with the ability to tackle ambiguous situations and make timely decisions.
