- Demonstrable experience in life, pensions, and investment administration within a financial services environment
- A solid understanding of financial products, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks (including AML and CPC)
- A minimum APA (Life & Pensions) qualification, with active progression towards QFA (full QFA or broader financial knowledge is advantageous)
- Strong organisational ability with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and CRM/data systems; familiarity with BIS and provider platforms such as Zurich, Irish Life, Aviva, or New Ireland is beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in dealing with both clients and colleagues
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team setting
- Experience with self-administered pensions or group schemes (desirable but not essential)
- Managing new business applications from preparation through to policy completion
- Processing Letters of Authority (LOAs) and Transfer of Agency (TOA) requests accurately and efficiently
- Coordinating client onboarding, including AML checks and full compliance documentation
- Producing client reports, policy summaries, and supporting documentation for advisors
- Handling policy servicing tasks such as fund switches, additional contributions, premium adjustments, and cancellations
- Administering claims related to retirement, death, and serious illness cases
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records across CRM systems, BIS, and provider platforms
- Responding to client and provider queries in a timely and professional manner across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- Working collaboratively with advisors and team members to streamline processes and enhance service delivery
- Providing general administrative assistance to support the wider team
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant regulatory standards and internal procedures
