- Take day‑to‑day responsibility for managing site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers, maintaining control over site sequencing and interfaces.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, driving a proactive and preventative site safety culture.
- Liaise closely with project management, clients, consultants and facilities teams to ensure clear communication and uninterrupted delivery.
- Monitor progress against programme, identifying risks or delays early and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspections, permits, method statements and quality documentation.
- Manage site logistics and access within live or occupied environments, minimising disruption to operations and stakeholders.
- Support inspections, commissioning activities and handover processes, ensuring works are completed to the required standard.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar role within a main contractor, specialist contractor or facilities‑led environment.
- Experience delivering works in live, occupied or operational settings such as commercial buildings, healthcare, residential or large‑scale refurbishment projects.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor management and site coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce safety, quality and programme requirements consistently on site.
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Trade background or qualification in construction, civil engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Safe Pass (essential) and relevant Health & Safety training such as SMSTS, IOSH or equivalent (desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of Irish construction standards, regulations and site practices.
- Experience working to Sisk or Tier 1 contractor governance standards would be advantageous.
