Fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Preschool Assistant. No experience is required, we will offer you suitable training. Duties to include: Work as part of a childcare team in a preschool setting with children aged 2.5 to 5 years Assist the room staff to organise and set up suitable fun activities for the children Interact positively with the children and staff in the service Help the children at mealtimes, handwashing and toileting etc Clean the area, tidy and store equipment and toys after use Following the policies and procedures of the service at all times. This is a work experience and training programme. No previous experience required but a genuine interest in working with children is desirable. To work as part of a childcare team working in a creche setting. To create a safe, warm and caring environment. To implement daily care routines and play based curriculum. To assist with cleaning routines and record keeping.
