An experienced Bookkeeper is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with a Galway based accountancy practice.THE ROLE:

Process daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and bank reconciliations.
Input and manage financial data using accounting software (Surf, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
Process payroll for clients using Thesaurus or BrightPay, including high-volume payrolls.
Ensure compliance with Revenue requirements and filing deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS:
3–5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping/payroll role within an accountancy or payroll practice.
Advanced Excel capabilities and strong understanding of data analysis.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and meet deadlines independently.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and revenue compliance.
