- Compile monthly management accounts, delivering meaningful variance analysis and clear commentary.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and all financial records.
- Ensure intercompany balances are accurately reconciled and that foreign exchange is managed during the consolidation process.
- Timely and accurate preparation and submission of VAT, HMRC, and other statutory tax returns (including VAT, RTD, VIES, PAYE).
- Perform financial analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Provide analytical and financial support to the CFO as needed.
- Oversee the full payroll cycle for group entities.
- Prepare and file all payroll-related returns.
- Manage the supplier ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Promote collaboration across the company and maintain strong communication with internal departments and external partners.
- Keep ahead of industry developments and best practices.
- Support on various ad-hoc finance projects and assist with financial research when required.
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Solid technical accounting expertise.
- Demonstrated experience in producing financial statements, management accounts, and conducting financial analysis.
- Sound knowledge of Irish tax laws, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
- Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Experience with AccountsIQ is considered an advantage.
- Full-time permanent role.
- €50,000 – €60,000 DOE.
- Located in North Wicklow.
- Hybrid working and flexible schedule.
- Pension.
- 23 days annual leave.
