We are working with an ambitious and fast-growing company operating in the SaaS space who are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead their sales and marketing function, this position will be a key member of the leadership team.
You will have a thorough understanding of the dynamics of overseeing sales and marketing plans, and master internal and outsourced team resources. Your skills will play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of their growth and ensure seamless execution for their ongoing success. You possess excellent communications skills and are a born team player joining a talented team working towards the success of eliminating technological barriers.Role Overview:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
- Formulate and execute strategic business growth plans to capitalize on market potential.
- Utilize data analytics skills to drive informed decision-making and optimize business performance.
- Lead the development and management of holistic sales plans, collaborating closely with internal and outsourced teams.
- Actively engage in leadership team meetings, contributing to the formulation and execution of company strategy.
- Manage outsourced marketing resources and calendars to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver on marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with internal sales and account management teams to drive project success and achieve recurring revenue targets.
- Minimum 3+ years prior experience in business development or marketing fields.
- Knowledge/experience in IT managed services or a professional services industry– critical.
- A proven history of successful leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a strategic thinker and have strong negotiation skills.
