
Maintenance Shift Technician

- Responsible for the Bakery Maintenance Engineering function on shift.
- To ensure that all equipment is repaired to the highest possible standards.
- To record all work carried out in SAP and on Shift Report.
- Implement permanent fixes for all issues raised on the SAP shift report.
- To be responsible for the Maintenance H&S function on shift.
- To provide daily feedback to management through recording and reporting on all Maintenance activities.
- To be a hands on / front line leader of the team in breakdown situations.
- To assist management in all technical activities (projects, equipment install, reporting and continuous improvements etc.)
- To work alongside the Maintenance Team to build a continuous improvement environment within the facility.
- To be a good communicator and have the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative.
- To attend all required shift meetings.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks including condition based monitoring.
- To carry out a shift hand over meeting at the start and end of each shift.
- Responsible for identifying equipment spares and informing Manager / Planner of spares used during your shift.
- Provide Maintenance assistance to our cold stores refrigeration plant when need arises.
- Qualified Electrical Engineer with strong Mechanical skills.
- Must be able to un use multimeter, understand Electrical schematics and have ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and sensor faults.
- Food / Refrigeration and other Utility experiences an advantage
- Good team player and self-motivated.
- Available for call out duties and / or overtime when required.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP)
