- Maintain the information submitted for the Product Compliance Register for all manufactured systems and components.
- Ensure products meet relevant standards (e.g., CE, UKCA, UL, ISO, EN standards) depending on market requirements.
- Review and ensure market requirements for each product set are identified and documented in the PCR
- Manage and issue Declarations of Performance (DoPs) for multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate third‑party testing, certification, and approvals where required.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing and new products.
- Lead or support Design FMEA (dFMEA) activities for new and existing products.
- Work with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to identify risks early and implement mitigation actions.
- Ensure risk controls are embedded into design documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Support the creation and maintenance of technical files, control plans, and compliance evidence.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance requirements are understood and met.
- Provide compliance input during NPI (New Product Introduction), NPD (New Product Development) and design reviews.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure components meet required certifications and documentation standards.
- Support customer‑facing teams with compliance queries, documentation requests, and tender submissions.
- Maintain accurate, audit‑ready compliance documentation for all products.
- Prepare and support internal and external audits related to product compliance.
- Ensure all compliance documentation is stored, version‑controlled, and accessible.
- Identify opportunities to streamline compliance processes and documentation.
- Develop standard templates, checklists, and procedures to improve consistency.
- Train engineers and project teams on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience in product compliance, certification, or regulatory engineering.
- Working knowledge of FMEA methodology, especially dFMEA.
- Strong understanding of CE/UKCA marking, EN standards, and product conformity requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical standards, test reports, and regulatory documents.
- Excellent documentation and organisational skills.
- Experience in data‑centre, modular construction, or MEP manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with risk‑management tools (FTA, PFMEA, control plans).
- Knowledge of UL, CSA, or other international certification schemes.
- Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Confident communicator able to influence engineers and stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate compliance risks.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, engineering‑led environment
