Medical Social Worker - Connolly Hospital, DublinCpl Healthcare in partnership with Connolly Hospital is recruiting for a Medical Social Worker based in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.The successful candidate will work as a main grade Medical Social Worker in Connolly HospitalBlanchardstown, Dublin 15. The post holder will work alongside their multidisciplinary colleagues ontheir designated ward assisting in the provision of health and social care for people accessing thoseservices. Contributing to positive patient care planning is essential. The successful candidate mustdemonstrate strength in managing a fluctuating caseload whilst providing quality of care to those theysupport, optimising their physical, mental and emotional health during their hospital presentation. Thepurpose of this position is to support patients in their hospital recovery journey, identify supports andways to respond to their health and implement strategies to ensure they transition into the communitysafely.Eligible Candidates will:
  • Be registered in the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU.
  • Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU.
  • Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
