We are presently recruiting an experienced Yard Operative for a Full-Time position to join a leading provider of building supplies and hardware in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our yard and stores. Your main responsibilities will include loading and offloading deliveries, checking and storing incoming stock, maintaining a tidy and obstruction-free yard, and operating a forklift.Responsibilities:

Safely load and offload deliveries.
Check deliveries on arrival and store correctly.
Maintain stock records and update inventory.
Organise yard and stores for easy access.
Keep yard and stores clean, tidy, and safe.
Operate forklift to move materials.
Perform routine checks on forklifts and equipment.
Follow health & safety rules and promote safe practices.
Assist with general warehouse duties.

Requirements:

Experience as a Yard Operative or similar preferred.
Full Irish driver's license required.
Applicants 25+ preferred due to insurance.
Manual Handling and forklift license desirable (training available).
Knowledge of safe loading/unloading techniques.
Strong organisational skills, able to multitask.
Attention to detail when checking and storing stock.
Awareness of health & safety regulations.
Proactive in keeping work areas clean and tidy.
Good communication and strong teamwork skills.
