Passionate in their provision of exceptional care to all residents in warm, welcoming, and vibrant atmospheres, our client is seeking applications for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing.Based in Co Wicklow, this role is in a 72 bed nursing home which provides long-term and respite care for residents. Areas of specialty care include stroke or neurological injury, physical disability and long-term conditions such as Parkinson's disease, arthritis, cardiac or respiratory illness. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that opportunities exist for the development of care-giving and care-management and that the care given is appropriate, reflects current research and best practice and is resident centred.Requirements of the Role:- Be registered in the General Division of the NMBI live register.- Minimum 6 years post graduate experience in nursing, with minimum 3 years' experience in the nursing of older persons.- Have previous management experience, preferably at CNM Grade 2 level.- Have a qualification in management (desirable).- Have a high quality of interest and knowledge in the care of older persons.- Have excellent communication skills.Apply in confidence today to Catherine Hoban on:e:t: 021 4626138
