- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets
- Coordinate all phases of projects including design, procurement, construction and commissioning
- Ensure projects meet technical specifications, environmental standards and client requirements
- Promote and enforce health, safety, quality and environmental (HSQE) policies on site
- Prepare and submit necessary permits and documentation
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, representing EPS interests
- Communicate project progress, risks and issues effectively to all stakeholders
- Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Allocate and manage internal and external resources efficiently
- Supervise site teams and ensure proper training and performance
- Resolve conflicts and maintain team morale and productivity
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor project performance and address issues proactively
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections
- Ensure all works are completed to industry standards and client specifications
- Manage documentation and reporting for audits and reviews
- Monitor project costs and control expenditures
- Approve invoices, manage variations, and ensure cost recovery
- Report on financial performance and forecast future needs
- Manage procurement activities for your assigned projects, including supplier selection and contract negotiation
- Manage purchase orders, subcontractor agreements and material sourcing
- Ensure timely delivery of equipment and services to meet project milestones
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues
- Promote sustainable practices in wastewater treatment and infrastructure
- Explore innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater Industry
- Experience in implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted schedule
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines
- Third level Mechanical/ Electrical qualification
- Similar relevant third level qualification and experience will be considered
- Full Irish driving licence
