We deliver confidence in our ability and with the backing of DCC, one of Ireland's largest PLCs, we have the financial strength to sustain and develop our business which is underpinned by our dedicated workforce.The Galway Site at Ballybrit on the outskirts of Galway city has been part of Fannin Ltd since its acquisition in 2004 and operates a modern manufacturing and testing facility providing ready to use Microbiological media and supplying to the Clinical, Pharma and Food industries throughout the island of Ireland.Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe principal duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist in the manufacture of prepared microbiology media and the day to day running of media production and any associated tasks.
Experience & profile:… The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • Knowledge of Cleanroom Manufacture and GMP would be desirable but not a necessary requirement as comprehensive on site training will be given.
The successful candidate will ideally be:
  • Flexible, hard working and enjoy working with people.
  • Ability to produce results, prioritising objectives and scheduling work to make best use of time/resources.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines.
