We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Swords, Co. Dublin.We welcome applications from candidates with a warehousing background, with potential opportunities for supervisory positions available for the right candidatesShift Pattern Monday - Sunday ( Shift 40 Hours per week Average ) Fixed Term Contract Sept 2027Main duties and responsibilities
  • Carry out daily cleaning and housekeeping duties within the warehouse as directed by the Supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, including sweeping floors, litter control, and general site upkeep
  • Undertake labour-intensive tasks such as lifting and moving pallets and materials
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely, following training and instructions provided
  • Use cleaning tools, materials, and equipment in line with company procedures and safety standards
  • Follow all Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including safety footwear, high-vis clothing, and eye protection
  • Report hazards, defects, or incidents to the Supervisor promptly
  • Assist with general housekeeping and waste management around the warehouse
  • Store and report lost and found items in line with site procedures
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and cooperative approach when working on site
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions and briefings as required
  • Take responsibility for personal health and safety and that of others who may be affected by work activities
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations and client information
  • Be flexible and adaptable in response to changing operational requirements
Qualifications and experience
  • Good working knowledge of English
  • Access to a car due to remote location
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, safe working practices
  • Ability to use equipment and machinery required to carry out assigned tasks
  • Physically capable of undertaking manual and labour-intensive work
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of principles of chemical safety (desirable)
  • Basic computer literacy (desirable)
