The journey starts here, with you at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:We are looking for a Senior Software Developer, who is passionate about Software Engineering. As a Senior Software Developer in our Baggage Management portfolio, you will work with a cross functional scrum team on the market leading lost baggage solution for the Air Travel Industry. Using Agile development practices you and the team will be responsible for making delayed and lost luggage a thing of the past!At SITA, we achieve more, together. Are you ready to join us?WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Write and deliver complex code and modules for new features debugs existing code and modules once created.
Follow coding guidelines and all technical processes.
Participate in gathering managing and analyzing requirements to design new application and system features.
Contribute to estimates produced by the team for all technical work, using standard agile estimation techniques.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5+ years software engineering experience in a development capacity using Angular, Java or both.
Familiarity with API development and design.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer sciences or Engineering.

NICE-TO-HAVE:

Professional programming certification in a mainstream programming language is a plus.
