Accounting Practice Manager - RemoteWe are hiring an experienced Accounting Practice Manager for our client a modern, technology-driven accounting practice in Balbriggan, due to continued growth and increased client demand. This role is ideal for someone with strong practice experience who enjoys working across accounts, tax and client advisory, while contributing to the development of systems and junior team members.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €75k per yearBenefits:Company pension (up to 5% employer contribution)Life insurancePaid study supportEmployee Assistance ProgrammeAnnual performance bonusKey ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and support the team to deliver high-quality work on timeReview and sign off on accounts and tax work, ensuring accuracy and complianceManage workflow, capacity planning, and job schedulingAct as the technical escalation point for accounting, corporation tax, income tax, and VATMaintain and improve procedures, templates, and practice management workflowsProvide structured feedback, support CPD, and develop team capabilitySupport payroll operationallyManage a small client portfolio with strong communication and relationship ownershipPractice Management & SystemsDrive continuous improvement across processes and marginsMonitor performance metrics and support practice KPIsSupport onboarding from a technical and operational perspectiveCommercial & AdvisoryIdentify opportunities for additional advisory work, tax planning, and project workSupport proposal/pricing improvementsDrive growth of the client portfolio while maintaining strong profitability across service linesExperience & Skills Required5+ years practice experience in Ireland5+ years post Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA)CTA qualification or strong tax capability an advantageExperience reviewing accounts, CT, IT, VAT, CGTConfident managing people, workflow, and deadlinesExcellent communication and judgmentStrong knowledge of Cloud AccountingPractising certificate desirable.
