We develop device technologies to enable drug-delivery for respiratory, biologic, biosimilar and injectable products, and work across Viatris to support innovative technology solutions to provide healthcare solutions for our patients. We operate from 4 sites: Dublin, Ireland, Cambridge & Sandwich, UK and Southpointe, Pittsburgh, USA. Every member of our team is dedicated to creating better health for a better world, one person at a time.The Role & What You Will Be DoingEvery day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Device Supplier Assurance Intern role will make an impact:Support the generation of detailed purchasing specification, aligning to product and process requirements.Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather information and insights for accurate generation of Purchase SpecificationCreate and maintain detailed timelines to achieve planned program deliverablesAssist in the support and completion of defined documentation deliverablesGenerate defect reports and associated QMS system administrative actions for fulfilment of deliverables against key program milestones to support wider GDD & DPT actionsEngage with functional line team to communicate escalations and key program objectives pertaining to Packaging and Labelling.Attend where necessary both functional line and department related meetingsAbout Your Skills & ExperienceFor this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:Currently enrolled in a degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.Strong interest in medical technology, device development and manufacturing processes.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).At Viatris, we are dedicated to building a truly diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t fully align with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
