Supervise and coordinate plumbing teams on-site.
Complete first fix plumbing works and obtain all necessary test certifications.
Create a second fix task list and provide an estimated completion date.
Monitor and address any site issues that may impact project completion.
Communicate project updates and variations to the Contracts Manager.
Liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders as needed.
Monitor project progress and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) policies and procedures.
Advise management on potential hazards related to equipment operation.
Supervise and train apprentices in installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
Interpret blueprints or prepare sketches to determine equipment placement and ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
Use a range of tools and equipment, including power tools, measuring devices, and testing instruments.
Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and ordering materials.
Mark up circuits and drawings to reflect actual installations.
Work at height using ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or repair systems.
Carry out physically demanding tasks, including trench digging and lifting heavy objects.
Schedule work activities and lead small teams to complete tasks within set timeframes.
Anticipate material needs and coordinate procurement in line with project timelines.
Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, heating, and sanitation.

Qualifications

Fully qualified plumber (National Craft Certificate or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
RGI certification (preferred).
Strong understanding of domestic and commercial plumbing systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Full clean driving licence.
