Reporting to the Contract Manager, the role holder will ensure the security and safety of all airport users. They will ensure that exceptional service levels are provided to our client and customers and carry out the appropriate defined security processes and procedures in accordance with our policies, Vison and Credo.Our credo describes what matters most to us. - Be a role model for positive attitude and respect for our colleagues, client and customers;
- Carry out security ID, boarding card, vehicle checks and physical searches in line with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) standards;
- Interface with relevant internal and external stakeholders and positively promote the Airport;
- Maintain a proactive dialogue with internal and external customers, responding to feedback appropriately.

- Undertake foot and vehicle patrols of operational areas and designated routes;
- Maintain a log of all incidents and provide written and verbal reports to the Contract Manager;
- Advise the Contract Manager of any security occurrence or system failure and identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting security;
- Maintain, operate and test security equipment and report any failures or performance deterioration;
- Comply with local Aviation Security operating procedures, working practices and protocols;
- Successfully complete mandatory CAA training;
- Adhere to performance standards which deliver client and customer expectations;
- Ensure adherence to all legal requirements;
- Actively contribute towards the achievement of our strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.
- Respond to emergency incidents following the agreed procedures;
- Operate the airport's Control Centre and co-ordinate emergency situations;
- Manage traffic and evacuation of the terminal building during fire alarms and security threats;
- Actively contribute to a high-performance culture and embrace change;
- Work closely with colleagues and management to discuss actions, innovations and challenges;
- Understand and adapt to the varying needs of our business;
- Be fully flexible to support the rostering requirements to fulfil the operational requirements of the airport.
- Identify and propose new ways of working with colleagues and the management team;

- GCSE/ O' - Level Maths & English or equivalent;
- Full clean driving licence.
- Demonstrable track record/experience in a customer facing role;
