Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to FridayDuration: 6 month FTCLocation: DublinJob Ref: 202431About the roleEcclesiastical Insurance Ireland, who are proudly part of Benefact Group are looking for a Underwriting Admin Support to join our Dublin office for a 6 month FTC.We are looking for an Underwriting Admin Support to join our underwriting team to help deliver exceptional customer service supporting Ecclesiastical’s “right first time” approach to customer service.Joining our rapidly expanding and innovative Group presents a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and become an integral part of an inclusive, purpose-led organisation.Key responsibilities
  • Assist in renewal, new business and mid term adjustment processing in line with current processes and underwriting strategy and guidelines (if APA qualified this includes underwriting of fast track renewals and schemes policies)
  • Perform other admin duties to include but not limited to – switchboard, photocopying, scanning and lodging cheques, following up on survey requirements, post duties, visitor management, catering requests and travel
  • Input data accurately and efficiently, recognising and rectifying where quality standards have been missed
  • Plan, prioritise and manage own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs
  • Identify issues and anomalies and escalate in line with company policy
  • Build effective internal relationships to deliver exceptional customer service and support Ecclesiastical’s right first time approach
  • Act on audit results and agreed actions plans to improve own performance and enhance the effectiveness of the team
  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes
  • Understand and operate within regulatory framework and identify and escalate any risks to the business in line with company policy
  • Undertake project work as required
Knowledge, skills and experience
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Appropriate IT skills
  • Customer service experience
  • APA Qualified (preferred) with progress to CIP
