The Company's premises are at Allianz House, Elmpark, Merrion Road, Dublin 4.The OpportunityReinsurance Underwriter / ActuaryAs a Reinsurance Underwriter / Actuary at Allianz Re Dublin you will underwrite and price the non life proportional & non proportional treaty reinsurance business underwritten at AZ RE Dublin dacKey Responsibilities:
  • Analyse various Property & Casualty reinsurance treaty submissions and present findings .
  • Conduct transaction pricing using standard AZ Re pricing tools, while also developing custom pricing models to enhance accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with the local specialist team of reinsurance underwriters and actuaries to establish and support technical pricing opinions.
  • Creating strong working relationships with colleagues within Allianz RE at group level, and internationally as appropriate
  • Review and contribute to the development of policy wordings for internal treaty reinsurance business.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives as needed to optimize processes and outcomes.
  • Share technical knowledge and tools with colleagues and develop own expertise
  • Collaborate with finance/accounting to ensure treatment of reinsurance pricing is allocated correctly
Key Requirements / Skills & ExperienceEssential:
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Actuary .
  • Qualified actuary
  • Reinsurance underwriting and pricing experience in non-life business, .
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
