Job DescriptionJob Title: Relief Chefs - Hospital SettingLocation: Dublin South and CenterPosition Type: Casual/AgencyOperating Hours: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Flexible shiftsPosition Type: Part-time/Temporary/Full-timeSalary: Competitive, with weekend/holiday payPosition Summary: The Noel Group are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our dynamic team in a hospital setting located in Dublin South and Center. This position offers flexible working hours, weekend/holiday pay, uniform, and training to ensure that you can achieve a work-life balance and deliver exceptional culinary services in a healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious and delicious meals for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Ensure that all meals are prepared according to dietary guidelines and restrictions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with dietary specialists and healthcare professionals to accommodate special dietary requirements.
  • Participate in menu planning and development.
  • Adhere to hospital safety regulations and protocols.
  • Display excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification.
  • Chef qualification certificate Min QQI L6 or Equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital setting is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for delivering high-quality meals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.
