- A qualification in science, electro-mechanical technology, electronics or engineering. Recent graduates and those with some experience working would be considered.- Experience with optics, gas/vacuum technologies, fluidics is desirable.The ideal engineer would:
- be hands-on and keen to learn;- want to be part of a busy team;- communicate clearly, verbally and in writing;- be proactive, dynamic and have a customer-first attitude;- be able for problem-solving and working alone at customer sites;- be organised and able to re-prioritise;- be ready to work in GxP environments.Other requirements for the role:
- Fluent English is essential.- Computer literacy with Microsoft Windows is essential.- A full, clean driving license is essential.- A current passport and willingness to travel for training is essential.- Living near Dublin would be practical.Package:

This is a field role servicing and supporting customers and their scientific instruments in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will be joining a team of service engineers and work alongside sales engineers with the support of office coordinators. Specialist training will be provided to our new engineer, at our base in Dublin and with manufacturers abroad (in EU, UK and USA). The engineer will variously do preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, validation and qualification of instruments (working to GxP at all times), and generally support our customer base technically and with the help of colleagues.
