LaoisSalary: €45,000 - €50,000Office Based RoleMy client is seeking to appoint an experienced Part Qualified Accountant on a permanent basisCandidates will need to have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.Experience within the hospitality sector would be a distinct advantage.Candidates must have a good working knowledge of ExcelKey Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and P&L reporting.
- Supporting payroll processes and monitoring dept. labour costs.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls.
- Assisting with revenue reporting and financial analysis across the hotel.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Preparing financial reports and assisting with audits and compliance requirements
- Working closely with operational managers to ensure financial procedures are followed
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, controls and financial processes.
- A recognised accounting qualification or being part-qualified is desirable
- Previous experience within hotel or hospitality finance preferred
- Strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working with department heads and operational managers
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing their career
