Salary € 40,000-60,000The RolePart Qualified AccountantTallaght, Dublin 24PermanentSalary: €45,000 - €50,000Hybrid Working after probationMy client is seeking to appoint an experienced Part Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis.Candidates will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and also be studying towards their professional exams.A good working knowledge of Excel is required.Hybrid working will commence after the probation period which is 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.Key Responsibilities:As a Part Qualified Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience in a range of financial processes, including:Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with financial statements
  • Conduct variance analysis and support forecasting and budgeting
Business Partnering
  • Collaborate with departments to understand financial impacts
  • Provide insights to support strategic decisions and advise on cost-saving opportunities
Cost & Management Accounting
  • Maintain cost records and analyse variances
  • Assist with product costing and profitability analysis and support pricing decisions
Financial Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
  • Preparing filings for Taxation
Transactional Support
  • Post journals, reconcile accounts, and process accruals/prepayments
  • Support accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions
Process Improvement & Development
  • Identify inefficiencies and support system/process enhancements
  • Stay current with study requirements and apply knowledge practically

  • Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
