We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Group Learning & Development Manager to lead our learning initiatives across all properties within The Doyle Collection. The successful applicant will lead the group-wide L&D department, work alongside business leaders to offer market leading development programmes to existing and new team members, whilst ensuring that your team offer exceptional training to suit the business needs. You will oversee all aspects of training, including e-learning, collaboration with external partners, and classroom-based training. Ensuring you lead by example, your infectious passion for instilling a learning culture within the business is essential.Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate the learning culture within the organisation
  • Create and implement Learning & Development Strategy for the business
  • Manage and co-ordinate our Leadership Development Programme
  • Provide expert support for the Hotel People & Culture departments
  • Work closely with the Hotel General Managers on localised requirements
  • Manage fully our online Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Lead our L&D team across three jurisdictions
  • Review, update and where necessary, design and develop training sessions in line with current learning trends
  • Remain up to date with legislative amendments and liaise with Head of People to implement appropriate changes
  • Create new and innovative ways of learning in line with modern trends
  • Develop relationships with professional bodies to promote professional development across the company
  • Source suitable training providers to offer bespoke training
  • Lead the apprenticeship and early careers agenda within the business
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
  • Passion for learning and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to build relationships across all levels
  • Excellent management skills and ability to motivate a team
  • Understanding of the hotel industry and experience of managing a LMS
