- Developing, implementing and managing BRC and QMS
- Ensuring compliance by continuously measuring quality processes and systems and ensuring readiness for external audits
- Managing and coordinating testing required within the analytical laboratory
- Measuring quality KPIs to measure and identify quality performance trends
- Working with the production manager on production schedules and clean down schedules
- Proactively identifying and closing out corrective actions to deal with quality issues
- Food Science Degree or equivalent in a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment is compulsory
- Excellent working knowledge of quality systems, accreditations and analytical lab equipment, operation and validation
- Strong knowledge of food quality and environmental standards
- Experience in developing and implementing quality systems and procedures
