- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet quarterly assigned sales quotas by effectively managing the full sales cycle and leveraging cross-functional resources.
- Forecast & CRM Management: Maintain accurate forecasts and activity records in CRM systems (Siebel & Salesforce) for the assigned region.
- Competitive & Growth Strategies: Defend against competitive pressures, uncover additional opportunities, and identify co-termination and reinstatement prospects.
- Customer & Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Quest Software Renewals Management, Technical Support, Business Units, and field sales to ensure customer success and provide timely feedback.
- Product & Industry Expertise: Build knowledge in specific technology areas (e.g., security, database, or systems management), stay updated on new solutions, and develop relationships with internal teams to better serve customers.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of inside sales, renewal or account management experience (software related industry is preferred)
- Strong organization skills with an emphasis on territory management
- Excellent PC and internet skills with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook and Excel)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment; must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to handle a high volume of e-mail communications and out bound calls
- SaaS sales and customer success experience
