We are seeking a Senior Refrigeration Technician to join the company's growing technical services team. This is a hands-on senior role ideal for an experienced technician with a strong background in refrigeration systems, including air-to-water heat pumps. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance of advanced heating and cooling equipment across Ireland.Key Responsibilities:
- Commission commercial and residential heat pump systems
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heat pump equipment
- Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance work to ensure optimal system performance
- Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance and training when required
- Liaise with project engineers and customers to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Complete and maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with F-Gas regulations, health and safety standards, and company procedures
- Qualified Refrigeration Technician (Level 6 or equivalent)
- Have full, valid F-Gas certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration and/or heat pump systems (commercial and domestic)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Full clean driving licence (company vehicle provided)
- Comfortable reading wiring diagrams, commissioning reports, and technical manuals
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with R290 or CO₂-based systems
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and system controls
