- Develop and deliver the strategic growth objectives
- Deliver the annual P&L budget and prepare regular forecasts and business reviews
- Prepare, maintain & manage continuity & contingency planning
- Establish strong relationships and agendas with key suppliers
- Lead and motivate the trading & category management teams to drive profitable growth through efficient operations and strong commercial execution
- Drive significant department efficiencies & cost reduction improvements in the business
- Deliver key capital projects on time and within budget
- Ensure all departmental & inter departmental SOPs are updated & in line market & business standards.
- Oversee & deliver process improvements & changes supporting key business goals & standards.
- Manage team strategy & attendance at Trade Shows ensuring in year ROI.
- Review and completion annual CMP's and incentive tracking.
- Manage & support team proficiency on all CRM, Data & software tools required.
- Develop market intel dashboards & delivery weekly , monthly & quarterly updates & insights.
- Develop Sysco Brand in line with business goals.
- Support building of FY strategy to achieve business goals for Case growth, EI & GM cash / %
- Manage and co-coordinate interdepartmental deliverables and relationships
- Represent the company with all key stakeholders internally and externally
- Third Level Degree in a Business / Procurement / Food Service related discipline
- Proven High level of commercial expertise within the Food Service industry with a minimum of 7 years' experience operating at a senior level
- Results-based with a proven track record of applying their financial, commercial & strategic skills to a range of business-related objectives
- Experience using consumer insights, competitive assessment, pricing, JBP planning and financial analysis.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution.
- Decisive by nature with strong analytical skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel to intermediate-advanced level is a minimum requirement
- Full clean B driving license
- The role will involve travel, so flexibility is required
