The position will be in Holycross. The aim of this programme is to provide you with the opportunity of acquiring knowledge in the area of childcare whilst gaining experience working in a Childcare Setting. Duties to include assisting childcare leader on a daily basis in the general running of the facility; to assist with daily activities; to meet the needs of the children in your care; organise and supervise play, arts & crafts, etc. You will achieve a Level 5 QQI (FETAC) Childcare qualification which will enable you to obtain employment in childcare. Candidates must be prepared to dedicate themselves to classes and study. Genuine interest in working with children, flexibility and a good level of English is required. Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form. Location: Holycross, Co. Tipperary
