Medical Scientist

• Perform a range of diagnostic tests in one or more of the following disciplines: Microbiology, Haematology, or Biochemistry
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Participate in internal quality control and external quality assurance programmes
• Adhere to ISO15189 standards and maintain accurate documentation of procedures and results
• Collaborate effectively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and accurate results
• Ensure all work is conducted in line with health and safety guidelines and HSE standards
• Participate in the training and supervision of junior staff or students, where required

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science or equivalent recognised qualification
• CORU registration as a Medical Scientist (or eligible for registration)
• Minimum of 6-12 months’ laboratory experience in Ireland
• Experience working in at least one of the following disciplines: Microbiology, Haematology, or Biochemistry
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work within a team
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (visa/work permit status must be confirmed)

• Work as part of a highly experienced and welcoming laboratory team
