Job Description

We are looking for experienced Commissions finance leader who will support 1800+ strong sales organization. As a Commissions supervisor you will be leading and mentoring a team of professionals through the different levels of career progression and towards achieving the desired business results. The Commissions Supervisor will manage the Commissions team responsible for APAC sales region and own end-to-end commissions process for the assigned organization. You will be closely partnering with APAC Sales Operations & Sales Finance leaders to ensure financial acumen, accuracy and consistency in the payment calculation and execution of the Commission Plan

Responsibilities:
  • Manage teams of analysts, setting objectives and reviewing performances, providing guidance and support, arranging training and ensuring alignment to team and company goals. Motivate, lead and develop your team members
  • Drive half-annual process of deployment of Commission plans for the sales organization
  • Ensure proper and timely execution of payroll and reporting activities per defined schedule
  • Understand inputs from various partners to develop complex cost analytics for management review and to support corporate activities. Understand the business reasons for compensation changes. Provide analytical support to upper management to support key decision making
  • Take the lead to develop broad Compensation solutions and approaches that drive global process consistency
  • Develop a thorough understanding of commission budgeting, forecasting, modelling process along with monthly accrual and variance analytics
  • Lead process, system, and control improvements in collaboration with Sales Operations, Global incentives, and System teams for increased efficiency and effective financial analytics for the WW Field Finance organization
  • Provide extensive business partner support to regional Sales Operations and Sales Finance to assist in and drive desired business results
  • End-to-end owner of monthly Commissions payment process distributed to Payroll
  • Manage special cases payments, analyze impact and propose resolution in accordance with VMWare policy and best practices
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting support to business partners
  • Coordinate compensation administration activities for the regions
Requirements:
  • B.A. or B.S. in Business, Finance, or Accounting;
  • Minimum of 6 years of finance experience, including at least 4 years in the Compensation function, with a strong record of career progression
  • Strong planning and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with unquestionable integrity, who can take charge of complex tasks with minimal direction and develop new strategies and new ways of approaching business challenges independently
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence / drive change across functional and business boundaries
  • Experience in researching, understanding, and clearly explaining complex transactions and business impact
  • Past management experience required
  • Ability to work in a remote environment
  • Excellent English (written and verbal) communication skills required
