The Rose Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Tralee, Co Kerry. It is a 161 bedroomed hotel with busy food and beverage outlets.We are currently looking to recruit for the role of Kitchen porter.Main duties of the role:· To ensure that all wash up areas in the kitchen remain clean, tidy and free of hazards at all times· To ensure that the pot wash area is kept clean and tidy at all times· To ensure a continuous supply of clean equipment to the kitchen and food & beverage areas of the hotel· To ensure that all floors, walls and surfaces are kept clean at all times· To ensure that refuse is regularly removed from the kitchen area· To ensure that the refuse area is kept clean and tidy at all times· Required to do night cleaning duties when rostered· To do extra deep cleaning duties to comply with the EHO· To complete cleaning records as directed by the senior chef on duty. To attend training both on the job and online. To work as part of the team. To comply with HACCP in relation to storing of deliveries etc.. To carry out any other duties asked by either Senior Chefs or ManagementThis is a full time role working 5 days with 2 days off - working hours will vary depending on business requirements.Candidate

Ideally to have previous experience in the role of kitchen porter in a busy environment
To be able to work as part of a team
Must have fluent level of english both written and oral
To be able to work weekends and public holidays
