- Clinical Trial Support: You will support all stages of clinical trials, from initial setup to completion. This includes feasibility reviews, contract and budget management, and making submissions to Irish Ethics and Competent Authorities.
- Operational Management: You will be the main point of contact for operational and funding inquiries, coordinate meetings, and ensure all clinical trial monitoring, reporting, and data management are handled effectively.
- Collaboration and Relationship Management: You will manage relationships with academic institutions like the RCSI and various industry partners.
- Reputation and Promotion: You will support the promotion of our reputation for excellent patient care by aligning research and education. You will also help disseminate the work of CVRI Dublin through publications, conferences, and other educational activities.
- Education and Training: You will facilitate and oversee the educational programs for our Electrophysiology Fellows and research students.
- A bachelor's degree in a clinical or life science-related field, or an equivalent third-level qualification.
- At least three years of experience in project management.
- A strong understanding of the current Irish medical, academic, and health services research landscape.
- Proven project management and organizational skills with strong planning ability
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a clinical research coordination or project management role within a healthcare, academic, or pharmaceutical setting.
- Experience preparing Data Protection Impact Assessments.
- Experience negotiating contracts and budgets with external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and legislative requirements for clinical research.
- Experience preparing submissions for research ethics committees.
- A solid grasp of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements.
