Role Type: PermanentOptimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a Contracts Manager to take overall responsibility for the delivery of multiple large-scale residential developments across Cork City.About the RoleThis is a senior leadership role overseeing several high-value residential schemes valued between €30m and €70m, comprising a mix of multi-unit apartment developments and large housing estates. Projects are currently live across inner-city Cork, with a strong pipeline of further city-based developments commencing from 2026 onwards. The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis only and provides long-term stability within a developer-led delivery model, supported by experienced project, commercial and site teams.Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of multiple residential projects across Cork City
- Lead Project Managers and site management teams across all sites
- Maintain programme, quality, cost and safety performance standards
- Manage client-side contracts, risk and commercial performance
- Coordinate senior stakeholders, consultants and statutory bodies
- Provide strategic input on sequencing, resourcing and buildability
- Ensure consistent standards and reporting across all developments
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
- 10+ years experience delivering large residential construction projects
- Irish or UK residential construction experience is required
- Strong background with a residential developer or main contractor
- Proven experience managing multiple project teams simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, commercial and decision-making capability
- €120,000+ depending on experience
