Are you an experienced Supply Planning professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Morgan McKinley are seeking a Supply Planning Manager to join our client's team in Dublin, where you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient supply chain operations.Responsible for managing supply planning activities, this Planning Manager will ensure product availability, and optimizing inventory levels to meet business demands, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to develop and execute effective supply strategies.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement supply planning strategies to meet demand forecasts while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Partner closely with demand planners, procurement teams, production planners, and logistics teams to align supply plans with sales forecasts and customer demands.
  • Manage supplier relationships, monitor production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery of materials. Provide timely updates on supply constraints and negotiate solutions when necessary.
  • Track and analyze KPIs related to service levels, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance. Provide regular reports and actionable insights.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance supply planning processes, implementing best practices and leveraging data-driven decision-making to optimize performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply planners, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and motivated team.
Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in supply planning, demand planning, or supply chain management at a management level.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with ERP and supply planning systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
