Join us in creating a workplace where safety is everyone's responsibility.About the roleThis is a newly created role within Indirect Procurement, designed to strengthen analytical capability and enable more data‑driven, forward‑looking decision making.As a Procurement Analytics Specialist, you will play a critical role in enabling data‑driven decision making across Indirect Procurement.Your primary focus will be to design, build, and maintain analytical models, reports, and dashboards that provide deep spend visibility, support strategic sourcing initiatives, and enable category transformation planning over a 12‑month+ horizon.Working closely with Indirect Procurement Buyers and Category Managers, you will translate complex data from multiple systems into actionable insights that support long‑term supply strategies, cost optimisation, risk management, and performance tracking.While exposure to procurement is beneficial, this role is fundamentally analytical in nature.This is a permanent, full‑time role based in Naas, operating in a hybrid model (3 days on site, 2 days remote).Key responsibilitiesProcurement analytics & data modelling
- Lead the extraction, consolidation, and transformation of data from multiple systems (ERP, sourcing platforms, suppliers, sites).
- Design and maintain analytics models (facts, dimensions, measures) to support spend analysis, sourcing events, and category strategies.
- Build and automate reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking using tools such as advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query), SQL, and Power BI.
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy, consistency, and governance across assigned categories.
- Interpret data trends, identify patterns and risks, and provide clear recommendations to procurement and business stakeholders.
- Act as regional procurement super user for COUPA and SAP MDG, supporting data structures, catalogue updates, reporting, and operational KPIs.
- Create workflows and processes using SQL and Java interfaces to improve data flow and reporting efficiency.
- Support advanced modelling tools, including commodity risk, budget, and forecast models.
- Support Category Managers and Buyers with analytics for tenders, sourcing strategies, supplier benchmarking, and category transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, margin management, pricing activities, and working capital initiatives.
- Develop strong cross‑functional relationships with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, RD&A, and Regulatory teams.
- Support supplier performance analysis, compliance monitoring, and risk assessment.
- Contribute to the development of cognitive and advanced analytics applications (AI‑enabled insights, predictive analytics) to enhance procurement decision making.
- Continuously improve analytical methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics, reporting, and data modelling roles.
- Expertise in SAP including master data and reporting environments.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced), and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Solid understanding of data modelling concepts, including facts, dimensions, and measures.
- Proven ability to merge, clean, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
