- Work as part of our busy mobile team or individually to carry out planned maintenance of HVAC equipment, identifying repairs to be made and completing all relevant reports.
- Carry out fault-finding diagnosis and repairs on HVAC equipment.
- Assist in the commissioning and validation of HVAC systems.
- Ensure management is informed and kept up to date on the status/completion of work orders.
- Work with our design and projects team to complete HVAC installations.
- Assist the Mechanical Service Manager in developing quotations for remedial works.
- Maintain service vehicle ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- As part of the role, you will be required to join the service team out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Applicants must demonstrate a thorough understanding and commitment to adhering to all aspects of the 2005 Health and Safety Act, including the 2007 General Applications and relevant codes of practice.
- Additionally, candidates are expected to actively participate in Health and Safety Training sessions and toolbox talks.
- Candidates must be prepared to follow job-specific Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) and conduct dynamic risk assessments as necessary.
- Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning QQI Level 6 or equivalent qualification.
- City and Guilds 2079 (Category 1) F-Gas qualification or equivalent.
- Post-apprenticeship experience desirable.
- Full driver’s license.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and ability to work using safe working practices. Knowledge and ability to complete work permits.
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment and systems ranging from Split and Multi Air-conditioning, chilled water plants, DX cooling equipment, Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units, and Ventilation Systems. Knowledge of CW/LPHW ring mains and pumps is preferred.
- Experience in effectively communicating and collaborating with clients is essential to ensure safe working practices per site requirements.
