- Enhance the current Data Analytical site strategy in alignment with the current Digital Roadmap.
- Design and implement advanced analytical models that support business process improvements.
- Deliver high-quality data science support to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance site performance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the technical business applications and apply modelling techniques to improve effectiveness, efficiencies, and decision-making quality.
- Build on site data analytics capability by training users and supporting continuous improvement project delivery.
- Develop and sustain the data aggregation platform (Tibco Statistica Informa) for process control and data analysis.
- Act as an SME support to local data viewers/consumers.
- Provide data science support when required during investigations, new process introduction, or change implementations.
- Deliver routine statistical support to assure continued compliance in line with the general expectations of cGMPs for products manufactured (Continued Process Verification & APQR).
- Stay current with industry 4.0 trends and developments in AI/M.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Proven experience practising the applications of Data Science.
- High proficiency in the use of statistical tools, analytical methodologies, databases, and programming languages (Python, SQL, R, Excel, Minitab, etc.).
- Strong experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDE), e.g. Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, JupyterLab, etc.
- Experience developing and deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models within a production environment.
- Hands on experience with the Tibco platform or other visualisation software such as Tableau, Power BI, or R.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions.
- The proven ability to quickly adapt to change, taking an Agile approach with a willingness to learn and be challenged.
- Demonstrated strong ownership and accountability, with proven leadership and communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex quantitative analyses in an actionable manner.
- Experience within the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry working GMP regulations is an advantage.
- An understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles are preferred.
